READO in Kenya
Transforming lives and building communities
Rural Education and Agriculture Development Organization (READO) is an established non-governmental organization that has been delivering impactful humanitarian aid and development programs across the Horn of Africa, including Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, and Kenya. In line with our vision of empowering vulnerable communities, our operations in Kenya focus on addressing urgent needs through well-researched, localized interventions.
With over 15 years of experience delivering emergency aid, recovery, and resilience programs, READO is committed to empowering vulnerable communities and building resilience through sustainable solutions.
Our work in Kenya builds on successful programs in the Horn of Africa, with a specific focus on addressing the critical needs of Northern Kenya’s ASAL areas, where communities are disproportionately affected by food insecurity, water scarcity, and limited livelihood opportunities.
